We choose to concentrate on UniCare because we know they will be around and they provide the widest array of options including strong PPO plans, HSA's, and Consumer Driven Health Plans and their rates you get the most benefits for your dollar. We are a Premier Agent with Unicare, meaning we can offer many things general agents can't, such as:

-- online enrollment via the phone which will waive the application fee. Freedom Benefit Solutions does not charge an agency fee neither.

-- we have the ability to do trial / prescreen applications and give you an educated opinion within 48 hours.

-- we provide our customers with rapid processing. That means you know if you have coverage or not within 72 hours.

UniCare is one of the few companies who do not "block" business. This is important to you because it means the person who buys UniCare 3 years ago, will pay the same rate as the person who buys UniCare today. Basically, what most insurance companies do is they come into an area and undercut everyone else in price. Then they block that business off and continuously increase the rates every year based on that block's health and claims experience. So essentially if you get in a bad block (and they are all bad blocks) you could be stuck in a plan that you are paying 3 to 4 times over the current going rate with that company. For this reason is why we say UniCare will be around. The companies who block business are not as financially stable as a company who does.
