Payment Options
Generally speaking, most insurance companies provide
you with options for paying your premiums. Some are
more lenient than others. Every insurance company
sets the methods and terms for billing. By large,
the companies will charge an application fee which
is non-refundable even if you are declined. All forms
of payment will be paid directly to the insurance
company, never to Freedom Benefit Solutions.
Freedom Benefit Solutions does not charge any agency
or administrative service fees on top of the application
fee or monthly premiums. Our services are FREE
OF CHARGE to you, the insurance company pays
us.
You can expect the following from the companies we
represent:
Application Fee
- Range from $0 - $30 payable to the insurance company.
May require a separate check from the first month
premium. Credit card payment may be an option.
Initial Premium/First month
- This will be required in order to submit an application.
Only exceptions would be some medicare supplement,
or health supplement companies.
Monthly Premium
- We have 1 or 2 companies that will do a monthly
billing. All companies prefer bank draft. This is
the best option, you don't want to worry if you are
in the hospital that your premium check gets sent
off.
Quarterly Premium
- This is for paying 3 months at a time. All companies
offer this option.
Semi-Annual / Annual Premium
- Almost no health insurance company offers either
of these options.
